photo of paintingCurrently on view in the Ramsdell Room, Christine Mirabal is an emerging Latina artist who paints with acrylics. She performs improv at Happier Valley Comedy in Hadley and writes poetry in her spare time. She learned painting techniques by watching online video tutorials and experimenting. Her purpose for painting is to create beauty. She expresses her love for nature through art. She also creates enigmatic pieces that let the viewers decide what they are seeing. By doing so, they get closer to themselves.
