The Selectmen serve as the Town of Pelham's chief executive body. They have overall responsibility for the general operations of town government. The Board of Selectmen is the major non-school appointing authority for the town. They are authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the municipality.

While most other town boards and offices serve a particular function, the selectmen's responsibilities are much broader. The Selectmen play an active and strong role in the financial management of the town by participating in the budget process, directly reviewing budget requests and giving input at all levels of the process.

The Board of Selectmen's office is open and staffed by Administrative Aide Kim Leahey, Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
