The current Board of Selectmen: At a special convened Select Board meeting on April 5 the Pelham Select Board respectfully voted to declind DOER's EAP Clean Energy Technology grant for a solid fuel pellet boiler heating system. In a letter they wrote to DOER the said how difficult the vote was because so much time and effort went into developing the information, discussing the information with the citizents and working on the grant application. They further said how Pelham has a strong desire to embrace renewable sources of energy, as well as wanting to improve the energy effiecency of the community center. They declined the grant because of the impossible project completion deadline of June 30th.
