Chapter 115 - Water[HISTORY: Adopted as indicated in article histories. Amendments noted where applicable.] ARTICLE ISwimming [Adopted 5‑6‑1978 ATM, Art. 13] § 115‑1. Bathing in public water supply prohibited; fine. [Amended 5‑6‑2000 ATM, Art. 23] Any inhabitant of the town or any individual within its borders will be prohibited from bathing, swimming or otherwise entering into any public water supply within the borders of the town under penalty of a fine of $300 for each such offense which may be recovered by indictment or on complaint before the District Court of Hampshire and shall inure to the town or to such use as it may direct. |
