Town Clerk Kathy Martell
will have office hours on Friday from 10:30 am- 1:30 pm and by appointment on other days. At that time,Kathy is able to do Voter Registration, Dog Licensing, Vital Records maintenance and Provide Certified Copies of Vital Records.

REMINDERS

Street lists for 2011 are still available from the Town Clerk. The cost is $5.00.

All dogs in Pelham must have their 2012 license by March 31, 2012.



2011 Dog Licenses NOW Available

2011 dog licenses are now available. Licenses may also be obtained from
Andy Lichtenberg. In order to get a license, Pelham residents must
supply a current rabies certificate; fees for dog licenses are $3.00 for spayed
or neutered dogs and $6.00 for non-spayed and non-neutered dogs.

Andy can be found at Lichtenberg Veternary Hospital Mon - Thurs 9am - Noon
and Monday and Tuesday from 2pm - 5pm.
Town Clerk Kathy Martell is available
at the Rhodes Building on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

You can also send a self-addressed, stamped envelope,*
a copy of a rabies certificate and the appropriate fee to

The office of Town Clerk is an elected position. The Town Clerk serves as the Public Information and Legislative Administrator, Chief Election Officer, and Local Registrar of Vital Records and Statistics. This is a multifaceted administrative position; The Town Clerk is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the appropriate process, notification and procedure is adhered to in the making of legislative policy by the town, and of managing public access to this information.

These responsibilities are two-tiered: first are those outlined in 73 chapters and 451 sections of the Massachusetts General Laws, and the second are dictated by the unique Bylaws of the town.

The many duties of the Town Clerk include conducting the Annual Street List, Dog Licensing, Fish & Game Licensing, Elections, and Vital Records.
