UPCOMING EVENTS

Pelham Birders and Naturalists Past and Present, April 24, 7 – 9:00 p.m.  Hampshire Bird Club expert David Spector and members of the Pelham Historical Society will introduce us to several birders and naturalists as well as bird-related objects from our Collection. This event is co-sponsored with the Pelham Historical Society.


Pelham Birders and Naturalists: A Walk, April 27, 7 – 9:00 a.m. Meet in the Library parking lot and join Members of the Hampshire Bird Club in groups of 8 to 10 to carpool to various Pelham locations.  Sign up by April 14. Most of the walk will be on relatively flat terrain. Binoculars are strongly recommended. Rain date is Saturday, May 4. This event is co-sponsored with the Pelham Historical Society.

photo of book coverLocal Author Festival:  Emma and Belley:  Sister Detectives, Saturday, May 4, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Sisters Emma & Belley Barrett will read their bilingual book in English and Chinese and explain their co-writing process. Stay and make your own book. Most appropriate for children ages 4-10.

Music for Little Ones with Wendy Plummer, Mondays, 10:30 – 11 a.m. This event is particularly suited for children from birth through age 5.

Qigong with Rema Boscov, Mondays at 4. All levels are welcome. The group meets outside. No special equipment is needed and drop-ins are welcome.


zumba logoZumba with Anna Plummer, Tuesdays, 6 – 7 p.m. Aerobic dance exercise with Latin music and dance rhythms. Ages 15 and over.  Sign up here.


Vinyasa-style yoga with Sara Coblyn, Thursdays, 5:30 p.m.  Bring a mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothing. Registration not required.


Playgroup & Storytime, Fridays, 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. For children from birth to age 5, accompanied by an adult. Co-sponsored by the Library and Collaborative for Educational Services (CES).
