The Board of Assessors of the Town of Pelham has received notification of preliminary certification of its FY 2018 revaluation program and proposed assessments from the Mass Department of Revenue Division of Local Services Bureau of Local Assessment.
The Bureau of Local assessment conducted a statistical analysis and reviewed samples of parcels and determined that the Assessors’ revaluation program and proposed assessments complied with state requirements.
The last step in the revaluation program is the public disclosure process. The Assessors’ office has prepared a list of the proposed new FY 2018 assessments will be available for public inspection, taxpayer review and questions from Tuesday, October 17th, 2017 through Friday October 27, 2017 at the Assessors office in the Town Hall, 351, Amherst Rd, Pelham, MA
8am –Noon, Tuesday October 24th and Thursday October 26th. Assessments will also be available at The Amherst Assessors Office Tuesday, October 17th to Friday October 27th, 8am – 4:30pm and for inspection only at the Pelham Library during normal hours. Assessments will be available on the Town Website www.townofpelham.org.
