Special One Day Permit for In-Town Events Serving Alcohol (non-profits & for-profits only)

The Pelham Select Board is the local licensing authority for special one-day permits according to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission (ABCC) on mass.gov.

Events that include the sale and/or service of alcohol for non-profits and for-profits must apply for a license. There is no fee associated with the permit but liability insurance for the event is required.

Applications can be submitted in one of the three following ways:
  • Email the Select Board Executive Assistant, pelhamadministrator@comcast.net
  • Drop off in-person at the Rhodes Building, 351 Amherst Rd
  • Send via USPS to Select Board Office, 351 Amherst Rd, Pelham, MA 01002

Applications should be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to event to allow time for review by the Select Board and processing. A PDF of the application for the one-day special permit is attached.
