RMV/Real ID Information

The RMV designates Wednesdays to serve customers aged 65 and older.

Over 40 transactions including renewing a license may be done online. Remember that Massachusetts law requires drivers who are 75 years of age or older to renew licenses in person. A reservation is required. The nearest service centers are in Greenfield and Easthampton.

Appointment options:

● If you are an AAA member, make a reservation to renew your license or registration at an AAA location. Visit www.aaa.com/appointments to schedule your visit.

● If not an AAA member, visit www.mass.gov/RMV to make a reservation. Select the “Senior Hours - All Transactions” option on the “Make/Cancel a Reservation Transaction”
