SHINE (Serving Health Information Needs of Everyone), a federal program that provides current health insurance counseling to all seniors, regardless of where you live: website: www.shinema.org for more info. •Amherst Neighbors (Amherst & Pelham residents): member-led, no-fee, non-profit organization (Village to Village network: www.vtovnetwork.org), that offers volunteer services, programs and events to older adults, "to create neighbor-to-neighbor connections, provide access to info and services, and empower elders to maintain socially engaged lives while aging at home."
