Textile Collection Bin Supports Your Local Community

Did you know there is a donation box in the Pelham Library parking lot?

The Amherst Pelham Regional School District is partnering with Baystate Textiles to provide textile collection bins.

The focus: To spread awareness to the problem of unwanted textiles, educate on acceptable items for textile recycling/reuse, while generating much-needed revenue for the school communities.  There is no cost to the program and Bay State Textiles handles all of the logistics to the program.

ACCEPTED ITEMS:

Footwear- boots, cleats, sandals, flip flops, heels, slippers, winter boots, pumps, work boots, sneakers

Clothing- tank tops, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, undershirts, underwear, socks, pants, slacks, skirts, jeans, dresses, coats, shorts

Accessories- purses, duffle bags, scarfs, gloves, bathrobes, ties, belts, hats, totes

Stuffed Animals- any condition 

Linens- sheets, blankets, drapes, pillows, pillowcases, towels, table linens, comforters, throw rugs, placemats
